Alien races

Alien races populate the galaxy far and wide, with unique appearances, social orders, technologies, and views on humans trespassing on their territory.

Main races

• Drenkend: Scryve fodder race made up of cybernetically-enchanced clones. Their lifespan is usually no more than a week, and they follow Scryve orders without questions. Homeworld is Drenkapon in Alpha Uxor.
• Greegrox: Mysterious space fish. Homeworld is migratory.
• Humans: Fairly self-explanatory. Homeworld is planet Earth in Sol star system.
• Measured: Scryve-subjugated race. They are a living coral reef worshipping bureaucracy and acting as the Scryve Empire accountants and archivists. Homeworld Head office is Delta Domos I in Delta Domos.
• Menkmack: Shifty race of tricksters. Homeworld is New New New Whatever Menkmack in Pi3 Orionis, but likely to move over time. Buys living and dead Critter.
• Mowlings: Cute, cuddly, and accident-prone creatures worshipping a god called Jeff, who may or may not be a god, but instead a unique alien (possibly an artificial intelligence) from far away. Homeworld is Moop in Delta Xiphops B.
• Mukay: Aquatic squid-like race. Homeworld is Mu'Kayaan in Beta Pavo.
• Phamysht: A snake-esque cannibal race that live on ceilings. Homeworld is Ela Rise in star system Beta Ishikawa A.
• Pinthi: Originally a sentient bioweapon developed by the Scryve, most of them have since decided to go against their creators and waged war on the Sryve, as they want to become something more than a simple bioweapon. Homeworld is the supercolony at Alpha Acroix I in Alpha Acroix.
• Scryve: The Scryve were one of the last races to belong to the Faction of Eight, and are widely known to have despised it for its cruelness and decadence. Hoarding advanced weapons for themselves, the Scryve destroyed all other members of the Faction, and in its place created a more open, benevolent system where young civilizations would be allowed to develop naturally on their own terms. The Scryve appear to be large carbon-based lifeforms with a centaur-like body. It has been difficult to get much information beyond this due to their propensity for ceremonial armor as well as other more urgent reasons. Homeworld is Scryveno Seat in a star system that is not present on the playable map.
• Trandals: A matrix-inspired species that has become enslaved by an artificial intelligence known only as "Overmind".
• Tywom: The Tywom are a carbon-based life form extant in our local region of space with many similarities to mollusks. They have four arm-like appendages, none of which are evidently used for propulsion, and an ever present oozing sap to their persons. Tywom appear to be highly intelligent and sociable creatures, though perhaps in need of some social coaching. Homeworld is Tywomia in Alpha Repeculae.

• Observers: An enigmatic race that has apparently observed humanity for a long time and were hoping to be the first ones to interact with them after they reached hyperspace. Tywom beat them to the punch, however.
